SHAPE, FLAVOUR, DECORATION STYLE​

  • You can see the cake flavours I currently offer below and some pictures of my cake designs (more on my socials @unitbakeryfife). Flavours change seasonally and with whatever food pairing inspires me at a given time.

  • My prices are determined by the high quality ingredients I use and any additional elements you may want, such as flowers or edible gold. Cakes that require intricate designs, like those with pastry and diplomat cream or vintage styles, may cost more due to the extra time and care involved in their making. 

  • My specialty is Swiss meringue buttercream cakes and I work within my own style. I do not have experience in themed cakes and do not take orders for them. You can add cake toppers to your cake (or I can add miniature toys to it, really just a couple to make them look fun but still sophisticated). 

ALLERGEN INFORMATION

  • As a dedicated vegan for over 12 years, I ensure that no animal products or by-products are used in my recipes. However, please note that some purchased products may carry "may contain" warnings. While I take extra care to avoid cross-contamination, I use tree nuts, peanuts, gluten, soya, mustard, celery, sesame, and sulphites in my kitchen, so I cannot guarantee that any product will be 100% free from allergens. 

SIZE GUIDE

  • 6" 2 layers mini, serves 2 - 8, available in old school jam sponge only

  • 6" 3 layers, serves 8-15

  • 8" 2 layers, serves 10-12

  • 8" 3 layers, serves 24+​

  • I can show you how to cut larger cakes for party and wedding slices

  • Sheet cakes are also available and best suited to feed larger crowds

GETTING IN TOUCH / ORDERING​

  • I aim to respond within 24-48 hours, however, please do get in touch if I have missed you (please check your spam folder first)

  • I will send you all information via email

  • I require either a 50% deposit (and the remaining balance to be paid upon collection) or full payment upfront

  • Your booking is not made until receipt of payment and confirmation is sent

CHOCOLATE

Devil`s food chocolate cake + chocolate Bavarian cream + hojicha whip + kinako Swiss meringue buttercream

(Hojicha is a roasted Japanese tea, and has the most amazing nutty flavour pofile; kinako is a roasted soya flour with a warm, almost peanut butter-like flavour. My favourite cake on the autumn/winter menu))

Vanilla bean sponge + espresso syrup soak + espresso marsala mascarpone mousse + espresso Swiss meringue buttercream​ + thick cocoa dust​​

(can`t be coloured due to the brown(ish) espresso buttercream and not suitable for adding flowers, fruit, etc. due to the thick cocoa dust on top)​

I recommend collecting the cake on the day you plan to serve it if you chose fresh flower or fruit as a decoration style, as they tend to wilt quickly.
